Our team is intimately aware of the desire to build back our lives. Our home is a place of inspiration, respite, comfort and security. It must be beautiful and of the utmost quality; built to withstand the forces of nature with fire defense and resilience, earthquake resistance and water tightness. We take the time to understand how you or your family live and what truly matters to you today. You may want your house built back to the exact spaces you had before, or maybe your situation has evolved and there are some changes you would like to make. We want to overdeliver on the promise of building back better than before. Here’s what you can expect when you take this journey with us:

First, let’s get to know each other. You will sit down with the leadership of our wholly owned in house design firm. We want to get to know you, your story and your goals. Many of us are in a similar situation, so we can all share what we are learning on this journey together.

Regardless of if we’re creating a completely unique build or rebuilding within the parameters of the LA fire expedited re-build rules, we will refine every detail of your project to balance form and function to suit your needs. This stage ensures your home is beautiful, practical and built with environmentally responsible materials to achieve your desired aesthetic.

Rebuilding your home will be a complex process. The city is changing rules constantly and our expediting partners are in their offices daily making sure we understand and proceed in the most effective manner. Often the funding involves coordination with your mortgage and insurance companies. At Westside Build we are your partner through all of these headaches. We understand the reporting and progress payment structure and we can lead this process by working with the necessary 3rd parties to provide clear and detailed budgets and documentation as needed. Our goal is to keep you informed and confident throughout every stage.

Throughout the construction process, we maintain open transparent communication on schedule progress and any potential challenges that may arise. We intend to photograph and share updates from the site on a monthly basis. You’ll always know the status of your project through our proprietary online scheduling tool.

Throughout the building process we conduct constant comprehensive walkthrough punchlist checks to ensure every element meets our exacting standards and your expectations. When your property is ready, our team will be there to give you a full walk-through and training on any of the systems in your home and make ourselves available to answer any questions as they arise. This is the point where we hand over the keys (or codes) to your home that is move-in ready. Our obsession in perfection and organization will be transferred to you via a digital file share. It will contain folders with copies of your home’s relevant documents: your systems, appliances, material specifications, plumbing, paint finishes, flooring specs, lighting specs and digital drawings for future reference. We will also include a maintenance manual so that you know when and how things should be serviced to ensure their longevity.

After you have some time to settle into your new building our team will contact you to answer any questions you might have compiled about your new property. If there are any issues that need to be fixed or addressed, we will be there with the remedy. We aren’t going anywhere, if you have any modification or remodel needs in the future, we will be here to guide you.

We own our own lumber yard and buy directly from the mills, we have our pre-construction facilities, we have warehouses to securely store procured materials, we have efficient supply chains that are durable and unbeatable due to our scale of procurement. We have the relationships that in the construction community due to our scale that will matter most when resources are scarce.
